Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files. These text files contain data that are stored on the visitors computer. From time to time the website requests data from the cookies that the visitor stores on their computer. Websites use cookies to for example store settings about how the website should be displayed for the visitor. Another common use of cookies is to partly collect information about visitors behaviours.

The visitor consents to which cookies can be placed on their computer through the cookie banner shown when loading the website. If you have any questions about this cookie policy, please contact us via email. To reject consent you must open the cookie settings and de-activate the cookie categories that you want to remove, and click save.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies to improve the user experience on the website, such as keeping track of your preferences or data when filling out a form. We use two types of cookies. One is a lasting cookie that saves a file for a longer period of time on your computer. It is for example used for functionality that tells you what is new since your last visit. The other type of cookie is called a session cookie and is only valid during the time of your current visit to, for example, keep track if you are logged in.

Besides cookies we use the browser’s session storage for one purpose of our own. It works much the same way but is cleared when you close the tab, and the same rules apply to it. We use it to remember which partner offer you arrived through, so the offer is still there as you read on. The OpenAI pixel described below also keeps a few values in the browser’s storage, and only if you accept marketing cookies.

Cookies from Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics with the purpose of getting a deeper understanding of how our visitors interact with our website. The collected information is saved in USA on Googles servers. Google Analytics does not collect any personal information that can be connected to you as a person. Google uses cookies to evaluate how you use our website, create reports about your activity and to offer similar services that you might be interested in.

Google Analytics places both permanent and temporary session cookies. Google does not connect your IP-address with information that is collected or data that is previously collected.

Cookies from OpenAI
We advertise in ChatGPT and use the OpenAI Ads pixel to see whether those ads lead people to the app. The pixel is only loaded if you accept marketing cookies. It then tells OpenAI which pages you view on this website, which page you came from, and when you click a link to download the app. Page addresses are sent without the part after a question mark, if there is one. Like any request your browser makes, these also reach OpenAI with your IP address and information about your browser.

If you came here through one of our ads, the pixel remembers which ad it was, so a later visit or download can be counted for that ad. It also stores a random reference to your browser, so that several visits are counted as one visitor. Neither holds your name or contact details.

Loading the pixel from OpenAI’s servers also lets OpenAI’s network provider, Cloudflare, set two security cookies of its own on OpenAI’s domain. They are listed in the table below.

If you decline or withdraw marketing cookies, the pixel stops sending information and its references are removed. For more information, read OpenAI’s documentation of the Measurement Pixel.

3. Visitors' consent

Our position is that we collect your consent before we retrieve or store cookies. This goes for all types of cookies. Although, we do not collect your consent when cookies are used for basic necessary functionality of the website that is needed for it to work properly.

You have the option to turn off cookies in your browsers privacy settings.

Apart from marketing cookies, we do not collect personal information through the use of cookies. What marketing cookies collect is shared with OpenAI, as described above, and only if you accept them. If we start using other types of cookies, you will be informed about them and be presented with the option to consent before they are saved on your computer.
