AppClose Pricing in 2026
AppClose is $7.99 a month on the web or $8.99 in the app, with prepaid plans from $5.99 a month and a 60-day free trial. Checked 2 November 2026.
TalkingParents used to have a free plan. Since March 30, 2026 it has three paid tiers — $7, $16 and $32 a month — and the tier decides how many minutes of calls you get, how much storage, what fee you pay on payments, and whether you get the message-coaching tools.
TalkingParents pricing at a glance (checked 2 November 2026)
| Plan | Price per month | Calling | Payment fee | Storage | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $7 | 30 minutes | 4% | 1 GB | Secure messaging, shared calendar, info library, personal journal |
| Enhanced | $16 | 60 minutes | 3% | 15 GB | Everything in Essentials, plus unlimited PDF records |
| Ultimate | $32 | Unlimited | 2% | 50 GB | Sentiment Scanner and Writing Assist, Express Pay, prioritized help desk support, one free full printed records package, unlimited PDF records |
All plans include secure messaging, the shared calendar, the info library and the personal journal. The company's pricing page says annual billing saves 8%. On our arithmetic that is about $77.28, $176.64 and $353.28 a year for the three tiers, but the page shows only the monthly prices and the percentage, so treat those yearly figures as estimates.
The company's FAQ says that as of March 30, 2026 you need a paid subscription to use TalkingParents, and that you can apply for a fee waiver if you qualify on financial hardship or as a survivor of domestic violence. The subscription is managed wherever you started it: the App Store, Google Play or the company's website, and its support team cannot manage subscriptions made through app stores.
No. The company says co-parents can communicate even when they are on different plans. That implies each parent chooses and pays for their own plan, so for a pair on the same tier the bill is double the monthly price. For comparison, Co-parenting is USD 8.99 a month for the whole family. See co-parenting app pricing compared.
It suits parents who want the lowest entry price and only need basic documented messaging, with the option to move up if calling or records become important. If the message-coaching tool matters, note that the Sentiment Scanner is on the top tier only. Read OurFamilyWizard alternatives for other options.
